This is such an amazing technology! It is so crazy to see all of the endless possibilities! I loved looking at all the different ways that 3D printing can be used in the classroom!
When looking at the ways that it can be used for math there are so many cool ideas. You can design a shape you want and then make a tessellation with it! I think that with it being hands on you can help reach the students that are kinesthetic learners! You can also make spheres, cubes, etc. This would allow the students to be able to look at the object and think logically about how to solve problems using these objects while the teacher is explaining how to solve problems! I think it helps you reach all learners in a better way! You can reach the auditory learners by explaining! When you write things on the board you reach you visual learners and now when you use 3D printing you reach your kinesthetic learners! You can hopefully reach all students now!
I'm anxious to see where I end up teaching and to see what kind of technologies the school will have! Will I have access to all these cool things? Maybe I'll be at a school that doesn't have all the technologies. Either way it is exciting and I look forward to what I can do to be the best teacher!
